Check this out....dealer's asking $16.5k....wonder what he bought it off the original owner for?
http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/dealer/VOLKSWAGEN/CARAVELLE/details.aspx...
probably for the 'book value', which sure aint 16.5k. still it looks nice. Shouldn't have a 2.1 though should it?
Yeah i hear dealers (along with most cars) won't give you much for a t3.
i think the website puts in the 2.1 as the default engine. that one would be a 1.9
When looking for one, I saw one at Windsor Dealer for 12.5k, noisy, banging beam and a slider that didn't want to. Bought private for 9k, a much
better car.
For values, try http://www.redbook.com.au
I think that has been for sale for a while,
It was on Ebay too for an equally high price, i's a 1.9 not a 2.1
Tell him he's dreaming!! oops not allowed to say that am I :o
is it a caravelle or a transporter, just i thought caravelles had velour seats and where 7 seaters
Damm knew i should have held out.....

Yeh my old girl above was a CL(commonluxury) 8 seater and i currently have GL(GrandLuxury) 7 seater.
ahh so that's what they stand for......so i'm just a poor old commoner with no luxury?
It actually suits me quite well...rubber flooring etc easy to get all the sand out after trips to the beach plus without the air con and power
steering plus all the other weighs less too.
Yeh it's all good...
I still miss the CL she was a beautiful girl.
Ahh for the rubber flooring, bloody kids seem to make more mess every time i detail our GL.
