Lifted 2wd T3?
crazyfiggi - March 3rd, 2007 at 04:19 PM

Hey everyone, has anyone ever seen a lifted 2wd t3 van? Would it be posable to lift one? Like two inches? I was thinking about making spacers to go above the springs to lift it up a bit. My van is lowered now but im thinking about changing the style to something a bit more like a suv. Lift it, get some chrome 17s with big tyres and spray it jet black with lots of chrome. It may sound a bit weird but i can picture it in my head and rekon it would look good!
Thanks,
Alex.

sounds cool not for me but wahtver rocks ya boat
as for a lift the springs can altered go talk to ya pedders man i think ya could use local longer springs to get the lift but ya would need to get longer shocks or they would limit the travel
good luck

bugger pedders ,try a 4wd shop for your spring spacers as they do make them out of urethane as i was going to use some on my 4wd when i had it,try lovell springs or maybe you will have to have them custom made to get the height you need with the right spring rates :thumb:

Only downside is that the T3 is at max height for rollbar/swaybar limit.
So these may need to be changed as well??
otherwise too much body roll cancels handling advantage after concersion equals not alot for the dollars spent to achieve effect.
The standard syncro sits roughly 125mm higher than a T3 caravelle/Transporter.
Use syncro shocks and springs???

Oh and as a good mate of myn does lift jobs.
i would suggest body lift and then shock/spring lift/extension.
