off subject as my rear tyres are starting to hurt. i have in my possesion a set of 4 hub centric wheel spacers
all 5x112 or 5x100 @ 5mm thick with a center bore of 57.1mm.
Guess what they dont fit onto my T3.
Yeh yeh u probably already knew that.
So question is what is center bore size of T3;
spacers sit flush on the recessive lip of rear hib where it meets the brake drum. Sit flush on lip not brake drum face.
And wont even clear the grease cap on the front, no i havent taken it off as why bother they wont fit the back so not much point proceeing further.
So should i get the center bored out a little more?
I am guessing about 2-3mm? probably less.
Or should someone want to buy them for their vehicle??
can't remember what centre bore is, something close to 60mm but lots of talk about it on the brickyard (UK site) and thesamba (US site)
Gotta be somewhere nearer to 61mm neat. Brickyard suggests 66mm so as to clear the front grease cap..
Guess i will have to buy a set of callipers..
Know anyone i OZ that does spacers of same quality for reasonable dollars?
i been using peps spacers for 6 yeaRS WITH NO WORRIES still got em on the rod to clear the springs on the front these are 5x112 ane 5x100 mulit fit about $30.00 from memory
U mean PEP Parts as in PEP parts from Charlestown?
Yeh i am at a loss wether or not too have them all shaved by about 2-3mm or more for the fronts.
Bugger me, i tell u what though in about 2weeks time i will be able to tell u the do's and do not's + murphies included.
