well i'm beat i cant get the thing to idel driving along minding my own and maybe others peoples business when next i stoped at a set of lights the stupid thing just will not idel and gets the hops when ya off the go pedal and lightly back on
took the carby off removed all bits blew out with compressor back to gether and back on after making sure all was as i should be
started up and bloody wont idel y oh y save me from these water things there possessed evil i tell ya

you can always give it to me and i`ll fix it up and take care of it

oh you mite be onto something there i'll look just before i shoot it between the lights water cooled it's not natural
no had a look no idel electric thingie so back to the book

If idle is hunting the gaskets it be.

If idle is dying then electrics it be.

All other avenues are hit and miss.

ok somewhere to start it will rev to 10000000 rpm but the dam thing just wont idel and it just started no warning stop at lights no idel
water it's not natural witch crakt i tell ya

steve take a look at the hoses leading into the carbie if they are brittle air will get in did you check that the needle and set are clean soak them and try again

So whilst under load it wont rev? Yeh?

Ok check air intake valve at carbie?
Make sure Carb intake Gasket is good and seated.
Bit like a Bike small things make a big difference with these one.

ok turns out the rotten mixture screw was a dud striped so no adjustment took me an hour to get it out totally striped so a new or really good used carby is the go anyone know where i may get one it's a solex 34 pic 5 the one with the water choke

the problem isn't within the water it's in the fuel (ha ha) just remember everybody is 70% water but most are full of hot air....
