lookn damned fine, love the detail in the engine bay, what's the cabin interior like? but off the subject a bit, why have you removed the horizontal girts from the side of the shed?
Thanks for the positive feedback everyone, I haven't started on the interior yet ive done the new hood lining that's it all the interior is out of a
83 mk1 gti just going to re trim the seats in leather and leave it pretty much the same as standard gti.
As for the shed it used to have a 2 larger sliding doors they were taken off for some reason and fitted with 3 doors that open and are shorter than
the roof it doesn't leaks and its held up in storms so im not
worried hahaha
This is an early pic of the wilwood pedal box
Wow, really impressive what youve done with your Golf. I had a four door years ago I spent a bit of money on, and there used to be a bloke named Rowan on the southside of Brisbane with a Porsche Guards Red 2 door with a fibreglass wing and front spoiler. Anyway, nice job, keep posting. Cheers Chris
Fitted front brakes this morning
cracking along
Hi Revnit...haven't seen you or your work for some years now. Nice to see it's still neat as ever. Cheers, Lee.
Man that is one sexy golf, My first car was an orange 2 door 76 LS and I had a 1600 GTI motor with a 2 barrel weber on it. I had a swaybar on the rear, king springs and gas shocks. it was cheap and cheerful but used to fly. I get all sentimental when I see yours. You have spent some serious $$$ and time on this bad boy!!! and it looks awesome, keep up the good work!
Man that thing's one whip ride . Real nice detail & thought in it . I recently bought a 94 mk1 cabrio, black with grey interior, real straight & clean for 1 of our daughters but cause its not free & a only couple of years old she don't want it so i might keep it, slam it & maybe some 16 or 17's. Its a 1.8 inj - auto so low an slow i think for next summer . i did see a picture of yours on the watercooled site among some others in the rat & resto thread and like yours i'd have to say Inspiring is an understatment.
