Splitty Type I extractors/heater boxes/muffler - price drop to $300
Dasdubber - December 18th, 2012 at 11:04 AM

Hello

I have an exhaust system removed from a 2160cc type I motor that was in a splitty. It is one of George's stainless sidewinder repro headers (~$550 new) that has been modified to fit behind the rear valance, plus standard heater boxes (~$300-400 new) that have had flanges welded on to suit the header, and a custom muffler/resonator setup to take a bit of the drone out of the engine exhaust (~$300 in parts and labour).

Obviously the system is used (had around 10 months of usage) before being replaced with a CSP system.

Location: Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast (can freight at buyers expense)
Price: drop to $300 ($200 firm for the header and muffler minus heater boxes)...can't go any cheaper, will keep it for any less

Cheers
Al

What size are the header tubes and what size engines would it be suitable for?

I'll have to check header size but from memory around 38mm, bigger than standard. Will be a bit over exhausted for 1600cc but will still work, up to mild 2110 (no good for high comp and huge valves etc)

Yep 38mm outside diameter header size.

Price drop to $300. Will have to keep it for any less so this price is firm, cheers. Al
