HELP! Wanted Beetle starter motor

Hi guys,

My starter motor died on Christmas Eve and I need it urgently as I use the car daily to go to work. I can't get 1 as everyone is shut down for Christmas. My mechanic does not have one. It is for 1970 Beetle.

If anyone have a "spare" starter motor I can buy in Melbourne, I will pick it up as soon as possible.

how did you go with a starter ,id try paul for a cranky kit it will be the last starter you will buy

Have a starter motor out of 68 beetle. I think that will fit
