I have cleaned up the shed and have found another new transmission that is suitable for drag racing only . I purchased this years ago from Ron Townsend and this was his spare pro turbo tranny . This has been completly freshened and has the following components;
Late vw mag case with welded gusset
3.88 ring and pinion
3.55 , 2.06 , 1.56 and 1.12 gear stack
1st gear has no syncro ring ( Must have in gear before starting )
2nd gear has a liberty pro ring
3rd and 4th has new syncro rings
Dual HD aluminium side covers fitted with timken tapered rollers
Aluminium spool
Late throw out bearing
Late clutch arm
