Wanted ... Late Bug Bumpers and Brackets.
splitbusbay - November 4th, 2013 at 06:29 PM

We recently moved house ... and in the process put a number of items on the nature strip for council pickup.
Without giving it much thought, I also put the front and rear bars off my daughter's '72 bug in the same vicinity (but well away from the pile of rubbish), for loading into the removalist truck.
They didn't make the run that day, and when we went to collect them the following morning ... the scrap'os had relieved me of both bars, the brackets and a pristine third rear bar.
As the car is soon to be blue slipped, I'm now in the market for a set of bars and brackets for a late bug.
If you have a half decent set for sale, please call me (0431 771 722). We're on the Central Coast.
Many thanks,
Chris.

Go with Donn or Bazza as they may be closer.Les

You're probably right Les, they're considerably closer in both cases ... although a move to Nabiac/Dyers Crossing/Failford etc, etc, has been on the cards for some years now. As soon as I can secure employment, we're there.
Thanks again.
Chris.

If you want a move to Taree I can fix you up with a 3 bedroom house with a huge yard to store your treasures or build sheds, close to shops, schools, river, fish co op,clubs etc for a reasonable price.
Cheers Les

Thanks very much for the response guys ... to Barry, Les, Donn and Lee.

Donn has the goods that'll solve my little dilemma (many thanks mate), which I'll pickup early next week.

Les, thanks for advice on the property. If it was a liittle closer to Nabiac, I'd be there in a blink ... but we should talk. A gig of somesort, any sort (happily accept anything) and we're there. Marketing background of 35 years ... but currently restoring vintage and classic cars for a living with CC shop!

Lee, I'm beginning to think your right. Jac had someone quiz her whether the bars were being thrown out and up for grabs. She of course said no, and one sleep later ... gonski.

Thanks again for your help, sincerely appreciated ... problem solved.

Cheers,

Chris.
