WTB 1975 L Bug parts -Canberra
Willie - February 13th, 2014 at 07:45 PM

I've just picked up my new 1975 L Bug and have a list of parts required already.
In priority order:
Rust free passenger door (preferably light blue);
Rust free bonnet (preferably light blue);
Widened 15" steel wheels (different widths for front and rear to fit under standard guards);
Sidewinder style performance exhaust;
Recaro style seats with bases;
Pop-out rear windows;
Venetian blind;
Dual weber or dellorto carby set-up;
Lowered suspension; and
Warmed over motor (approx 1800 - 2000cc)

Will add more as I discover required work. Priority is to get it ready for roadworthy for ACT rego. I'll lift it up this weekend and check the brakes, steering and suspension components.

Thanks for any assistance or leads you can offer.

Cheers,
Willie

Don't know what's going on there - no PM in my outbox, either????
I am interested; however will just wait a bit and see if anything local and preferred colour pops up.
Thanks for your reply,
Willie

I've tried ringing (always 'out of range') and e- mailing with no response so far. I'll keep trying, though. I've had other recommendation for them, so sounds like they are worth pursuing.
Thanks,
Willie
