Strange request.........

My mother in law works at a nursing home. One of the residents, a lady with severe arthritis, wants to write her life story for her family. Trouble is she can't use a computer or even an electric typewriter due to the arthritis, can't write easily either.

Does anyone have a manual typewriter they aren't using, either a giveaway/donation or cheap (it is not budgeted for so coming out of my mother in law's own pocket) for this lady to get her memoirs down on paper? We are not after anything fancy, doesn't have to be anything special, just has to work or be able to be made to.

Brisbane northside preferred or local ish so postage doesn't cost the earth.
