I have a full set of panels left from a project that never happened. I spent around $1500 having the original panels shaped and prepped for paint
Came off a 1972 1302S
All in highest quality Glasurit primer and most have the black guide coat on ready for final rub before paint
They are in great shape. Condition as follows:
2 x rear guards - perfect. In glasurit final 4:1 primer ready for rub back and paint
2 x front guards - perfect. Prepped as per rear guards but then painted savannah beige for another project but went to fit and they are the wrong size
- oops
1 x bonnet - perfect. In glasurit final 4:1 primer ready for rub back and paint
1 x engine lid - perfect. In glasurit final 4:1 primer ready for rub back and paint
2 x front door - 90% finished. In glasurit etch and ready for final coat of 4:1. One has small dent size of 5 cent coin.
These would be ideal for someone looking to do a show car restoration. The panels are all original German and not the flimsy metal you get with
aftermarket replacements.
Would like to see them go together if possible.
Looking for $700 - would cost over $2000 if you bought aftermarket from JK and would then need to be primed still.
PM me if interested. Pick up Sydney Northern Beaches
Good luck with the sale and the panels look to be in great condition. Just one thing though, those rear guards are from an L bug and not an S bug.

Hmmm. Ok. I was sure it was a 1302S but I'm not a big beetle person so might have been misinformed
All the panels came off the same car
Cheers
Just confirming that this is the car these came off. Badge says 1302S
The L bug has the curved screen and the big "elephants foot" tail lights. The S bug has the flat (ish) screen and tombstone tail lights. The
engine lid and rear guards as well as the badge will fit either model though so the screen is the real way to tell what it was. These can and do have
lots of panels changed between cars but the big tail light guards you have are definitely the L bug ones.

Cool, thanks for that....makes sense that they got changed by someone down the line
