Hi folks, been searching a long time but had no luck. Looking for an April 58 36hp block or engine as close to # 2 301 294 as I can get for a points resto.

please ask your friends with the 36 collection in the garage for me too.

I would buy or trade ??? that as most of the 36hp engines have gone to GOD

I had a similar experience about 30 years ago trying to find one close for my 56 Oval
got it within 50k which I thought was good

Hi Dale,

I know it's an old thread but just in case you have not found the 36hp you were after, I have a complete 36hp and the serial number is 2305299. It might be close enough for your resto. PM if you are interested (I am in VIC).
