Okay so I've got no idea what this is worth (probably nothing) it's the gas cylinder chamber that goes in the side of the kombi, is missing lid but this can be purchased from the bustop.com.
No one probably needs this but you never know.
If you want this I will swap for something of interest for my '76 kombi.
