Just burned out windings in starter motor (not solinode - sorry about the spelling)...

091 trans

Im 60km out of emerald qld (and sick of clutch starting)

P.s. If any one has experience with fitting "high torque" aftermarket starter motors... or has any info after market items pls conact me.... Bosch sr87x????..... want something that will bolt straight in with out mods

I'll second that, once you've done it it is a cheap readily available starter of a heap of Subarus, spins over a hell of a lot quicker too.
I had dual batteries on my old vw starter motor and the new starter spins quicker on just the one now, and it's a smaller battery than before.

thanks guys... never heard of crankykits... sounds like its just what im after... bolts straight in... standard starter (for any future problems)... Tanks again...
