6 Volt Deep Cycle Battery, has been in my Ghia for a few years with a trickle charger, I have fitted a new one as I intend to use the little car this year. This unit still cranks OK and runs the car so if someone is looking for a battery for a 6v beetle this may be an option for a reasonable price.I would suggest continuing to use the trickle charger with it.
