wtb: 4x 15/5.5+ 4 stud wheels
cray - October 24th, 2004 at 04:40 PM

g'day ladies gents, yes i'm back.

and i'm after a set of 15/5.5 4 stud wheels to fit my '68 beetle.

i'd prefer stock 15s that have been widened to 5.5" or so inches, but i will settle for just about anything as long as it's 15/5.5 or wider and not in too bad condition, and must be somewhere in the sydney metro or it's surrounds.

or if you know a shop or somewhere who has got what i need for a decent (read: a few hundred bucks) price, please let me know. i'd prefer something with no tyres or crappy ones coz i'd prefer to buy some decent ones of my own choice.

now for the useless info so this thread doesn't get deleted, my name's andy, my number's 0410 694 794, and i'm in east hills in the south west of sydney. don't bother calling me though, because i hardly ever get the chance to answer the phone straight away. please just u2u me or reply to this thread.

depend on what you call a decent price. classic veedub in ryde has a huge stock of rims and they are about the grand mark. other than that the swap meet at the shoot out next week

there's a reason i want second hand. and i refuse to deal with classic veedub for reasons i'd rather not go into on an open forum, as i don't want to start a flame war.

I have a set of 5 for sale in Brisbane, like new, with new tyres. http://www.aussieveedubbers.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=29940

had a deal going, but it fell through the floor, burrowed into the ground, and stopped somewhere near the 4th level of hell.

in other words, bump.
