Hi All,
I still have the Microtech MT8 and hand held control unit, all brand new with wiring diagrams.
System was set up for a distributor pick up and rather than re-program it, which we worked out was not all that hard, another came up for sale exactly
as I wanted.

this mt8. is it a microtech ECU?? if so im guessing its an old model yer? and could maybe work on a rotary?
let me know some details. as my kadrons and 1600 are going up for sale soon to fund the rotary conversion. and an ecu would be good. would this get
rid of such boost limitations .etc on a standard 13bt ecu??
Anthony
The computer was the previous model to the Lt series out now. It will run to 20psi, although if you can find the program you can upgrade it to Lt
specs which can run 30.
I was never going to run more than 18, so it would have been fine.
It should work on a rotary, would just have to fine tune with the lap top. It is dizzy engine?
Matt
SOLD
Yes it is!
Thanks for the interst
Matt
hmm. i might be interested in one of these fairly soon assuming i sell my kadrons/1600 and transmission.
it would be for either a rotary or a ej20t. is there an aftermarket one that works on both?? as i havent decided which one yet but will definately be
one of each. even if it needs to get reprogrammed. just one that can work on both.
let me know of one. and how does haltech compare with microtech??
there is also motec. but they seem so expensive. any advantage?
Anthony
They will work on both, although my advice is not to buy a computer till the later stages of your project...get a surge tank/ new fuel pump and lines
or a radiator and plumbing.
matt
well radiator and plumbing was the first thing i was going to call.
anyone have any idea about using a falcon radiator?
Anthony.
Has to be a sealed radiator(no cap) Jak used a camira, I used an alfa 33. you first need to work out where you want to put it...measure the space,
make up a cardboard template and go to a wrecker and start looking....
Matt
i am to put it in where the spare wheel well is.
