oops, acidentally deleted the post! Here are the details again:

Good condition, no dents, though paint is a bit coarse (you'd wanna strip it anyway wouldn't you?) The lenses are a bit scratched, but nothing major. I had a peek at the reflectors and you can still see some of your reflection in them! Includes the bulbs for the indicators and brakes. The alloy trim is ok too. This doesn't include the backing rubber seal as I've lost that to the thieving VW gnomes that live in my shed.

They were in the back seat of my beetle when I bought it... I'd say you are right though - from an early 70's T1

got the a similar set on my 72 sbug, but they have no reverse light fitting which says to me 70s 1500

yeah in the pic the one on the left which is face down the place where the reverse light socket should be is blanked off

yeah thats fine mick i was just making sure. its easy to fix just swap the light plate for one that does have the socket there

I just had a look at em again, and it does have a provision for the reversing globe ot go in it, but I think you'll need the plastic componant to make it work. Otherwise, everything's there...

the rubber seal with these is brand new, i know because it was sitting in my room for like 6 months!
