Doesnt need to be a 67, all split ones are the same.

Opens up more chances of getting one.

YES!

new brass bushes (have to get those turned up)
ball bearings (standard part) and seal (standard part)
will save 80% of them. Not many actually have the worm
and tongue too badly worn ot damaged - its normally the output shaft
floating around in worn bushes that's the problem......

very worst case is machine output shaft and O/s bushes.

I'll probably setup and offer to reco split steering boxes when leo is
finished (after about April next year...).

this is for one of the old mans customers and the best my old man could find was a reco for $500

If they come out anything like your dropped spindles then they would be worth every penny.
