I am located in Melbourne and looking for a second hand steering wheel that fits a 1960 Beetle. Can anyone help me?

A standard version. The one I have has a couple of serious cracks in it.
Thanks

I had the same problem my 66 wheel, it had some nasty cracks and the prices I saw for replacements were too much, so i fixed it. It was quite easy and really turned out as good as new ....
I ground out the cracks and filled them with Tecni Glue (a super araldite type glue) then I sanded that ,used some bog and spray putty to get it smooth and sprayed it with enamel ,I had the colour made up for me at the auto paint shop and used it on the wheel, while I was at it I sprayed the seat frames, steering column and hand brake lever, made the car look new.
I was not that hard and solved the problem cheaply, Maybe you could give it a try
