Gibbo - December 20th, 2004 at 07:56 PM

Hey Gang, Im about to run off a few of these so I though I would put em up here to see if anyone is interested.

They measure 92cm tall by 58cm wide.

I will post them in a tube to your door.

Not sure how much they would cost yet. (Maybe $10 + PP depending on printing costs)

Lemmie know if you are interested at all..

:thumb

OK peeps, after some quick measuring of my own one I have found that it is 92cm tall x 58cm wide.

I will be trying to track down a print shop in the valley today.

I will let you know the costs later today, thanks all.

penguin - December 21st, 2004 at 06:48 AM

If the local shops don't say it, try a few places that do construction plans. We used to copy our own, but the paper wouldn't be good for keeping as the print fades with sunlight etc. ou are after a plans copier, most of the ones in town should have one or know where one is.

BTW, where the ?? did you find this baby? and whereare the other sheets?

Gibbo - December 21st, 2004 at 09:24 AM

Guys, Things are looking doubtful for these copies at the moment, just got some pricing from KwikKopy in the valley...

$99 for scanning in the A0 hard copy.

10 x colour copies will be $105 each.

20 x colour copies will be $90 each.

OUCH! Holy crap, no-one expects the spanish inquisition!

ruckus - December 21st, 2004 at 09:28 AM

d'oh - time to start scanning the forum for someone who knows someone who can do a favour :thumb

Gibbo - December 21st, 2004 at 09:29 AM

The only option I have is to maybe scan it in myself and then do prints on A3.
Unless someone can get me a better deal on the printing.

:cry

Gibbo - December 21st, 2004 at 09:56 AM

News just in, looks like a friend of a friend might be able to help out.

Stay tuned...... Looking a little more expensive than $10 a copy now though. :(

BiX - December 21st, 2004 at 10:48 AM

Gibbo, get them scanned, i have access to a a0 colour plotter, run off copies at a good price as many as you want. If you want to know places to get them scanned let me know, i have contacts in the drafting industry.

also try drawing and drafting in the valley. if they can't scan them let me know, i will see what i can do.

ruckus - December 21st, 2004 at 11:05 AM

kwik kopy are a f*^king rip off.

I work in an architecture firm and it does not cost that much to scan...

Also enquire about printing to a heavyweight trace in b&w, it would look great!

Also if you want colour, just use one colour as it's cheaper.

But my recommendation would be for black and white on trace..

hope this helps

i know a good place in melbourne..

penguin - December 21st, 2004 at 12:53 PM

I have a plans scanner out the back her at work, with old paper, but am not sure if it all works, let me get back to you mate.

penguin - December 21st, 2004 at 01:17 PM

Gibbo

if people are happy to have them in black and white, with possibly a few unlcean drag marks across the drawings (like scratches rather than smudges) I can do A0 for you.

penguin - December 21st, 2004 at 01:17 PM

Just don't ask where they came from ;)

BiX - December 21st, 2004 at 01:23 PM

I could always dig out the 60's style copier (acetone?) . still got a a0 in storage, then we could have proper blue prints!!!

penguin - December 21st, 2004 at 01:31 PM

You still got one of them? I used to use one when I was at Abigroup. Mine out the back is a Xerox black and white number.
Got paper for it?

barls - December 21st, 2004 at 01:37 PM
