west coast metric do repro heart lenses.
everything else is different for split beetles, and '56 on ovals.

The bottom bits are made from glass so they don't crack etc with age... its only the top red stoplamp plastic bits that deteriate over time....
Some people have heaps of them....
They have been collecting them for years....
I should have been a collector too....
