After having my beetle serviced on Monday the mechanic tells me that I have oil bath filter designed for a 1200 !
So I want to buy a air filter to suit my 1600 twin port. Anybody got one lying around they to see go to a good home ?

the 1200 air cleaner should work fine. but if u want a 1600 twin port air cleaner ive got one. ill swap u for the 1200 air cleaner at dubs by the pub mate. one of the little clips that hold the top on is a bit bent and needs to be bent back but apart from that it works well.

As long as they just change straight over i am more than happy.

i have a 1200 air cleaner on my 1600 lol but hey man its doing nothing and ill probobly never use it so its urs. only reason for the swap is i just want something to put back on that engine so i can still start it. and yeah they should just fit on as far as i know. is yours a 34pict carbie? anyway i think they all had a 50mm throat anyway so it shouldnt be an issue. see u at the forum get together at dubs.
