FS: 1600 Beetle Engine in Good Condition
PD_RS-RA - September 19th, 2005 at 02:41 PM

Hi all,

Have just removed a 1600 engine from my beetle to replace it with a conversion. It was running perfectly prior to removal and I've got video footage for anyone interested.

Not completely sure on it's history as I only owned the car for a month or so before pulling it out, but I know it was recently rebuilt by the previous owner, and I think it was a 1500 and got bored out. I don't know any other technical details, but can supply photos.

Selling complete with exhuast, coil, the works, just bolt up and she'll run. Asking $400ono.

It's in Canberra, but I can freight at your cost.

OK heres some pics. Not sure about the twin port heads, I've asked someone who would know and will let you all know the response, unless perhaps someone can tell from the pics?
