I have a 40hp engine that is not running (have never tried) but is pretty much complete (minus generator pulley) including the thermostat flaps, 36hp
style round fanshroud, dizzy etc etc. This was the engine that originally came with the 63 beetle that went on to be my current Resto'd Beetle.
Also there is a 36hp gearbox out of a 58 beetle that was noisy but was in usable condition.
I/my mate no longer need these items and they are about to go to the tip unless someone wants to collect them from Tarragindi, Brisbane - this
saturday morning around 9am. They will not be freighted, and immediate collection is preferred (unfortunately there will be no "I'll be in Brisbane
in 3 weeks, I might be able to pick it up then") - they have to be gone so hopefully someone can use them. They can't get much cheaper (a carton of
beer would be a nice gesture though) 
Post here, U2U or email me - basically the first person to reply who can DEFINITELY pick them up saturday morning will get them - c'mon, you know you
want em :P

Thanks guys for keeping me up to date. Richard, I just spoke to the third guy who had U2U'ed me earlier, and he has committed to picking it all up saturday morning. So unless you see any changes to the contrary here, looks like we'll finally have someone confirmed to pick it up.
