Dropped linkpin spindles. Expressions of interest needed
TheLowerClass - November 16th, 2005 at 06:24 PM

We at TheLowerClass have been speaking to our overseas connections. and we would like to know,

Who here is interested in Linkpin Type 1 Dropped Spindles. These will be of the CB brand, and will be around $50 cheaper than the prices that the stores are currently selling them at including all shipping and whatnot. BUT, to be able to get these here for the right price (and possibly cheaper) we need buyers, atleast 5, there are allready two interested parties, and i need more interest.

If you are interested please Email Thelowerclass@ iprimus. com. au or U2U Adam_C or VWFOOL as they are the masterminds behind the Purchase.

Thanks, We await your email

Only prob with dropped spindles is it kicks your wheel track outwards by an inch.
So its cool if you get a narrowed beam aswell,
Otherwise ya tyre edge's will be getting rather close to that guard edge.

Aside from that....its a quick way to drop the front of your bug.

Ball joint spinnies bring the overall track width out by 1/2 inch, and the Link pin ones bring it out overall 1 inch, and if you get the CB wide five Disc conversion, well your gonna need to Narrow by 2 inches just to get it back to stock track width.

I dont know where you heard that, cause if you click on the link, you will see that on their website, they mention that it brings the wheels out a little.

The site actually quotes the folowing for LP drop spindles:

Note: CB Dropped Spindles drop your ride a full 2 1/2" and extend the tires out 1/2" on either side.

A small price to pay....
