I am looking to buy a section of pan, Drivers side from the rear of the front seat up to in front of the battery area. The fella i got the car off
bolted his own seats in and crushed the pan. Plus the load of the seats moving, has put large cracks in the pan.Its the width of the pan from the
tunnel across to just below the factory seat runners on the outside that i require. Hope someone can help, I could fabricate something but would
prefer the proper piece. Thanks

Isnt anyone wrecking a stuffed type 3 that has a small section of good floorpan?
Try changing the title of your ad to 'WTB: Type 3 floor pan repair section', that way you may catch the eye of someone who knows about them.
Cheers
Problem is Ed, just about every Type 3 still in existence has a rusty pan, or has had them replaced. They're REALLY hard to come by. I had to buy a complete wreck and harvest the pans out of it. Good luck, I'll keep my eyes peeled across Bass Strait for ya.
I'm sure george at classic veedub rydalmere has these brand new. They are the same as KG aren't they?
Thanks for that i will look into it. This is the only damaged piece panel wise that i need to change.I know rust wise that im lucky with this car, but if i dont ask i wont find one.

dammit wrong side, i have a late pan, might as well be rust free, but just cut a big square hole from the lower part of the drivers side pan for my own rust repairs, everything from where the floor rises is there if thats any help.
