A friend is moving on and up from his 1776 and wants to sell whats left of his old motor. The parts for sale have not done more than 100ks since rebuild!

He wants to sell ALL parts together for $1800

1. Counter weighted steel crank balanced with flywheel and pulley (berg pulley)

2. Heads are 040's (were on here a while back for $600)
*Mild port and polish
*Semi hemi
*Fly cut for 90.5
*Heavy duty valve springs
*Stock valves and rockers.
*all work done is around $1000
These heads are not new but have only done 80ks since rebuild.

3. 2x 36mm dell's with manifolds and jests that suit a 1776

4. Engle 120 cam

5. Alternator stand

All parts ready to go!

am really interested, i need about a month to get the money, is that to late? sounds like a good price, are the dells single barrel or twin? do you know how much power the engine was producing with all the stuff on it?

they are twin barrel 36mm dells. the car wasnt dynod but it suprised me how well it went! It could be abit too long but all i can say is ring john and say you saw alexs post on aussieveedubbers.

been busy so haven't had a chance to ring but what if i give him half the money this pay and the other half next pay, that way he still has some of the money if he needs it straight away? just need the money, i definately want them. tell him ill call him asap

Im sure he will be ok with that! how often do you get payed if thats what ur referring to.

fortnightly, so i get payed this thursday. so i can get hopefully a fair bit of it to him then. ill ring him when i get a chance. tell him im sorry but been busy.

just wondering if the carbies come with the linkage or am i going to have to get one of those??
