sorry, what are semaphores? and i wana get one of those shifters, but i've been told that the scat shifters shift better? would u sell it separately, if so, how much ?

Seriously though... what are semaphores?

semaphores are old style indicators. typically mounted in the B pillars in beetles and kombis. They are stalks which pop out with an amber light when the indicator is activated.

As they are notoriously hard for other drivers to see, and most have failed, they have usually been sealed up and replaced. As a result they are rare and a much sought after accessory for both old skool and original restos.
