Parts are going to be available from my written off beetle as described. Please ring to confirm availability of parts I will put up a pic of the
before and after and if you see anything you might need, give me a call. I need two Beetle side skirts, so can do a swap if you have them.
Prices on Mechanical very cheap if you take it out yourself. In fact we are talking Beer prices.

- I am pretty negotiable, and would consider someone taking the whole vehicle as is for a price, but there are just a couple of things I have to get
off it including the wheels, (spare stays with car) and I would appreciate your understanding. We can talk and I would explain what those bits are.
This is what the good side looks like
man - thats a damn shame! was a nice lookin bug!
nick
U2U me for a take away price less the 4 main wheels, CD player, front screen and battery. (It does have one wheel - the spare)
At the end of the day I am negotiable on those extra items, but they are literally brand new and I neeed them for the new Beetle we got.
hey, i am interested in the carpet and i also have a set of spair side skirts that came of my 1970 bug. i am not too sure about the colour so would u be so kind as to post some pics for me. cheers, Matt.
Carpet on driivers side. The rubber mat is covering the "bottom" section of carpet, which has never had a foot put on it! The carpet also has the original "clip in" edges stitched into it along the bottom of the door opening.
ummm.. yer i don't think that colour would suit my car being a bright blue :P thankyou very much though for your time. good luck with the sale and
happy vee dubbing to you, Cheers, Matt.
Nahh not for blue car. Would suit any shade of red from pink to burgundy, or a white or black car
Hey Pete,
I know its hard parting out a car so obviously if someone wants it whole no probs....but I'd be keen to buy a few bits off you - little stuff like
ignition switch, speedo, light switch, wiper switch (actually wiper assembly - the whole thing), steering column tube, bonnet hinges (if not bent too
bad), bonnet latch and maybe some other stuff.
I'd be happy to remove it if I was in the same city but being on the gold coast makes it a little hard. I understand the time it takes to pull this
sort of stuff off so won't be offended if you're not keen to spend time doing it. Just let me know, if so I'll figure out exactly what I need.
I have a 70 bug that is missing a lot of stuff like that.
Cheers
Alan
All those parts are ok. They all work. I could pull them out, but not for a while, as I have the vehicle stored at my mechanics in Box Hill. He would
be happy for someone to pull bits off during they day while he is there, and he give me the key to do stuff after hours.
My problem is I had back surgery 6 weeks ago. Ideally once my garage is built I could bring it home.
Figure out exactly what you need, as I really believe in using this unfortunate demise of our baby to at least help other veedubs.
Will consider swap roofrack or any bling accessories for parts off the wreck too.
Cheers Pete - no real hurry, I can imagine you wouldn't be keen to be laying under the bonnet removing stuff with your back in its present form! I
will have a closer look through the 70 bug at home and will get back to you, but I am certainly keen.
Alan
OK situation is. I have to get the vehicle out within four weeks. Not my mechanic mate, but the landlord that has said it has to go. I know the
landlord too, and he wont budge.
The beetle will get stripped and remainder crushed.
Apart from what I have already taken off, these are the parts that I will remove and sell/ give away at my discretion, the rest goes to the crusher
unless someone wants to take it.
FOR SALE- seats, door cards, carpet, LHF fender, LHF door complete, LHR fender, decklid with no vents, rear tail lights
FOR CRUSHER/ FREE (complete only) - This is complete car less the parts listed above, rear bumper, dizzy, generator, windows, all dash parts, wiper
motor, column, 3 wheels. They are not included.
Sorry guys it seems to be taken care of. One lucky owner gets the lot for free.
