Wanted - 1600 Heads "Can you help"???

Hi fellow slaves to unreliable cars that basically always need something doing to them!

I am seeking a pair of 1600DP heads for my Kombi.
I will consider new ones - depending on price, or a good second hand pair.

I live in Townsville but will of course pay for the necessary freight.
Can you help, or perhaps put me on to someone who can - who wont demand my left leg as payment?

RECENTLY PUT NEW HEADS ON MY 74 BUG. COST WAS $572.00 WITH NEW VALVES GUIDES AND STEMS .

RECO HEADS ARE $220.00 PLUS gst BUT REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET A CLEAN UP AND VALVE GRIND JOB AND COULD BE IN TROUBLE A FURTHER DOWN THE TRACK.

FURTHER BE WARY WHEN YOU PULL THE HEADS OFF THE CYCLINDER BORE ON 1600 CC IN 90 AND BIG BORE KITS FITTED TO 1600 ARE 94

Hey...thought you were putting a 2 liter donk in there??? I "gave" all my heads and engines etc away about 6 months ago,so you dipped out there...will search in the shed again tonight and see if there are more in there.
