I have these VW wheels here that I aquired a few years ago for sale... there is a pair of them, and I have been told they are standard 50's and
60's Beetle wheels... altho they could be from a splitty, so ive got some pix below to aid ID..
They are 15" wide-5's without the slots around the weld... I'm pretty sure I've seen these on some of those oval ratbugs. you can have the tyres
on them too... not much use tho i imagine... hold air but stuffed tread= not legal tor safe. :P
Lookin at $40 each seperate or if someone wants the pair they can have them for $65.. not much use to me so some other bugger (excuse the pun) might
as well get them.
From what I can tell they will fit a pre 1971 bug, a splitty, and i think a pre 1967ish Karmann Ghia.
Pick them up from the Nowra/Jervis Bay area (2hrs south of sydney), or I may be able to arrange a courier at buyers expense... depending on the
area.
u2u me or phone me on 02 44435267.
Ask for Kieran if someone else answers...

OK.... I stumbled across a thread on the samba that says the wide 5 pattern was used on Bugs until 1967.... so theywill go on any pre-1968 bug... and
i think they fit on kombi's up to 69?
not sure what year the type 3 switched to 4 stud tho....
