Wanted - a type 3 disc brake conversion kit suitable for a 1965 type 34 ghia.

Any help or ideas appreciated

Cheers

Get a later model Type 3 disc and stub axle set up and bolt it onto the existing trailing arms.

The only problem you will have is that you have 4 stud instead on 5 but you can fit an adaptor plate to get back to 5 stud.

Just to add to Daves comments, you can swap the back drums from a 68 or later Type 3 to your car so you have 4 stud all round.

The other important thing to finish the job is to install a 68 or later Type 3 dual circuit master cylinder and associated hoses, you will then also need to fit a new reservoir for the brake fluid.

Then you can have the best braking system.

Gotta love Type 3's.
