Hi

The torsion bars will fit any IRS bug or Type 3, the trailing arms will fit bugs from 72 on, they would be for the single spring plate setup.

Here is a rookie question, in what way are the porsche torsion bars different/ better then the vw ones?

1303Steve - June 9th, 2006 at 11:06 PM

Hi

They are thicker, the most common size is 23.5, thats the same as a IRS Type 3, coming from a younger car they would most likely have less miles on them. Can you measure them up Malcom?

Steve

steve the diameter is 23.5mm and they came out of a low K jap import.

Hi Malcom

Well thats better than buying a set out of an old square with a zillion ks on them.
