These will not fit an oval or early beetle with small brake drums as the centre hits inside the rim before they fit flat on the drum surface.
You can how ever fit later 60's brake drums and problem solved. Correct me if i'm wrong.:thumb

Hi Bugboy,

No Offence but have you fitted a set on and early Beetle?

These are the Air Evo Replica Radars.

I have a set fitted to my original thin drummed 58 Beetle which is the same as Oval.

They fit strait on.

Cheers,

David

Like i said correct me if i`m wrong, but i have the same wheels and they won`t go on my oval?:thumb
I might have to look into it a bit more, but the centre dust caps hit before the rim was against the drum?
maybe i need to change dust caps?

BUGBOY - June 15th, 2006 at 01:00 PM

perhaps it was around the wrong way?:thumb

proctor - June 15th, 2006 at 05:45 PM

how wide are they? would they fit a 69 kombi? pics?

Calcool - June 15th, 2006 at 06:03 PM

Hi Proctor,

They are 5 inch wide.

I am not sure how they would mount around the large webbing and axle nut on the rear drums of a Kombi but the stud pattern would be fine. You may have to use spacers to clear the webbing and axle nut.

Attached is the only pic I could find. My wheels are all grey though and are AirEvo replicas.

Thanks,

David
