what size is the ball on the linkage and does the arm push or pull operate
have u got the dual set fitted ? ...i cant see in pic Nr 2
if u send it to me at home i can enlarge
pls send more pics of the middle
where the cable comes ut is important ...u may have to redrill in line wid da linkage (no kink or curves unless u supergrease it up..
Thats not a common set up so you will have to make a linkage set up
Start with a Berg crossbar first as they dont flex
risky,
theres a bit of work in making that setup work
i use the same set up, heres what i did:
both rods need shortning, new throttle plate linkages need welding on 90 degrees around and a return spring setup as well as new balance tube
u2u or email me if u need any more info

Dub 74L
i just got me one
can u take a pic of the steer column where the wire plugs are for lights and blinkers...all pulled out on mine
i just bought
need a pass door rubr and drvrdoor card also a peashooter (or two of them Golden Circle tins u got in the pic above
hey thats everyone
DUB74L you must have a 009?
mine is a t3 block the the vac for the dissy is stuffing up my linkage
sure is a oo9 get one OR
so heat up the rod and put a curve in it to get around the vac advance
OR maybe invert the vac advance ????
only guessing with that last one.
that motor only has a 009 coz of the cam in it
was an engle 110 from mem
the standard vac adv dizzy didnt seem to cooperate
but a 009 with 32pdsits and a standard cam is just a bad as a 34 pict 3 for flat spots
just a normal beetle vac advance works fine ive found

heres a pic of what i did to get the throttle plate linkages to work
the original needs to be left in place as it serves as the stopper
i drilled out the key hole on another fitted into the right pos over the top (about 90 degrees around from the original) and then silver soldered it
in place so it wouldnt move
i left the original in place (red circle) as it was a good spot to mount a return spring but i later changed to the bigger single spring as in the pic
above
a mate fitted these carbs using a modified kombi linkage years ago but i never saw it so im not sure how it was set up
