jish - got a 73 kombi - with 1600 - the 1600 is fritz - will this fit in without too much trouble - what tinware etc will I need to get?
it should bolt straight in with the gear i've got here!. i have the extra tinware and a new standard german exhaust [price that new!] you may have toswap your clutch over but from memory they are both compatable![1800 and 1600] but i will throw in both to make sure! how is airlie these days? i used
to be bosun on the solway lass operating for southern cross sailing adventures about 4 years ago! was there for 2 years or so! loved every minute!!
there is a guy in mackay that does dubs too! not much of a talker to start with , but a great bloke when you get to know him!! talk about aus history
and planes and u will be there all week!
cheers josh
i use the 1800 flywheel on my t4 in my bug. so thats to a standard 1600 box
no the 2L will not fit with out clearancing the bell housing which would leave it extremely weakened.
price drop!!! now $300 , as its annoying me now! its taking up room and i would rather sell it than move it into my new workspace!
anyone?
cheers josh
just got told that my add reads like the engine is incomplete. not so. one engine is all together and one is bottom end and bits and pieces! just
thought i should add that little detail to help things along a bit!!!
cheers josh

bumpity bump
try airlekombi
can bring down to valla if needed!! only as sale as i think i will be in my wifes caravelle and not my old panel that is more suited to parts
haulage!!
cheers josh
offers?
What did the motor come out of Josh.
I need to ask my mechanical genius if it would fit into my '68 Beetle?
it would be a t4 1800 ie out of a kombi. it will bolt in but will need to be converted to upright. its a nice size for a bug as it doesnt require an engineers. i would had one of these instead of the 2L if i could of found one at the time
motor came out of a kombi, 76 i think. wont go into a beetle without a conversion from sherman[plug]!
i think this may be sold!
cheers josh
