WTB - Heater Boxes for 2 litre Kombi
72TWINCAB - August 15th, 2006 at 03:24 PM

The heater boxes (including the pipes going to manifold) on my Kombi are stuffed. As a result I need something to replace my rusted out boxes.

I do not have a heater connected so all I need is something that has good pipes but condition of heater box is not an issue.

Alternatively, does anyone know if you can buy replacement pipes without the heater box part?

Mick Motors wants $438ea for brand new replacement heater boxes which is way too much for my budget.

Thanks,

Bill

I still have mine for sale from a year ago. I was only asking $80 a pair.

Sorry, didn't mean it like that. I just thought mine would have sold by now. I paid more than double that second hand for them when I bought them.

The pipes off your old motor are still here....use them

11CAB, Can you check the pipes on the old engine for holes. If they're OK I will use them.

Thanks,

Bill
