2 LITRE "AIR COOLED" MOTOR WANTED

Like the title says...want a 2 litre Kombi motor in servicable condition. Must be complete and a runner. The cheaper the better. Must be prepared to freight to Townsville 4815. No crap thanx....MUST be a runner. Reply to this thread or U2U. Thanx.

Sorry I have one but it's crap,
Runs well but leaks lots of oil, $300.00, it is complete, but will need pushrod tube seals.

Sorry...should have been more specific. AIR COOLED VW motor wanted. Thanx anyway guys. Neither of these 2 above would be suitable for the intended application.

Is that why theres a desert between WA and the rest of Australia to stop all those mutant 1/2 stupidaru and 1/2 good stlying Beetles from infecting the true VW entustists. The guy wants air cooled, leave his post alone and go preach to the perverted. Do you buy those lumps by weight or each. I guess Japan needs somewhere to dump its industrial waste.:P

Settle fellas.... there's enough room for all.... I have two subi powered dubs and have 2 aircoolers too and soon to have a efi turbo/intercooler 2276 stroker to fit up.... And they are all fantastic machines......Seagulls just messing with ya.... Don't take it so personally!

Prolly.... They seem to be getting thin on the ground these days..... COR don't have anything?... Have you thought about fitting a stroker TI engine?.... There has been a few on here of late....

I have a panel van with 2 litre twin carb for sale complete or will part out,..
See add under cars for sale.

Motor does need work,.. it runs roughly and I can't tell you what exactly is wrong with it,.. never driven it or had a look at the motor.

If you are keen I could get my Cousin who is a Mechanic to look at it.
It's been in my shed for many years.
Was going to restore but will probably never get around to it.

I'm in Brisbane.

well said Mick H and DUB61!!!Some people just don't understand aircooled! Sorry, can't help you with a 2ltr, At the moment, I have a 1800 which is no good to you of course.
