WTD.(Bris) IRS arms & Axles
SirDelton - September 24th, 2006 at 10:46 PM
Hi Guy/Girls..
The Kitcar I'm doing up based on a T3 isn't an IRS, so I'm looking at buying the brackets from Classic to weld onto my rear end..
So I require the bottom arms & a set of axles to suit..
Plus anything else that maybe required to do this mod.
Rear end will be running Disc Brakes when completed.
Cheers
Darren..

What are brackets from classic ?

The inner pivot points required for the 'IRS' suspension arms. You can buy them and weld them to a non-IRS chassis

Correct..

Well I believe that is the case.
Somebody must have a set somewhere?
I know some of you guys have used a Porsche 944 to do this.
Cheers

I was hopping to do this on the cheap..
This project is going to cost me more & more everytime I turn around.. :cry The STD arms fully welded should be WAY better then what I have..

If you can find a whole type 3 rear end, they are a bolt in...no welding.
Type 1 will need to be welded.

What sort of kit car you building?
I have an IRS type 3 rear going cheap. Doesn't have trailing arms, torsion bars or spring plates.
Case of Bundy and Coke and it's yours. Will post a photo tommorow.
