1 set of 4" (?) 6volt beetle wide 5 15" wheels, blasted and powdercoated cherry red (rat rod style) used for a couple of months for daily driving. $275

1 set of 4.5" (?) 6volt type 3 wide 5 15" wheels, black but paint is ratty. The offset on these is different than bug, so the wheel sits further from the guard lip. SOLD

whitewalls 1.75" visible brand new in plastic. Nice and firm, not the floppy jalopy ones.SOLD

Wouldn't happent to know if these'd fit on a bug without fouling my beam etc?

Am thinking if i go lower at the front without narrowing, that this'll tuck the wheels a little to give me a bit of clearance. would i be right?

They might, but it would only be about 16mm according to the difference in offset. Then again the type 3 wheels are .5" wider as well, maybe I should measure them both to check what the difference is between the distance from lug hole to outer lip?

That would be appreciated :)

If they're right, i'd take them this week...assuming they're in box hill ;)
