!!what kinda price would i be looking at for a rag top kit?
bajachris88 - November 20th, 2006 at 10:14 PM

any type, that would fit a 69' bug.
looking for similar to factory, with frame etc and rag + clips.

where do u get em?
How do u get em?
and how much :P?

cheers guys!

Fixed the bug... mechanically she works perfect. Transaxle and engine is 100% (cept engine oil leak). Only panel work left. While i'm at it, thought it would be best to look into it NOW rather than when the car is all put back together and painted etc.

thanx guys,
christopher.

^^bugger that, it's only a '69, nothing too historical and precious. Chuck a Britax in it. When they come up for sale they are around $500-600 generally.

Angle grinder $50 inc cutting discs

Canvas $30 from trimmer

Press studs $20 inc tools

Beer$30

BBQ $10 bread and sarnies

Total $140 and a great arvo with your mates!

Could do it as an AVD group bash at the next VW event

Gotta think outside the square Chris!
