i wish i was in brisbane...

is it a 36 or 40 hp?

i don't have any of my reference books handy, but if it is a 36hp motor the generator stand is cast into the rhs of the case, on 40hp motors, the generator stand bolts on.
if it is a 36hp can i give a tentitive yes (i will have to cantact a friend to check that he will pick it up for me, but he has done so in the past.).

engine is definately a 40 hp ,removeable gen stand ,engine has been snapped up by steve in brisbane ,thankyou all.
