Want some eye lids for my Fasty. The ones I have spot rust after every shower of rain and need polishing straight away.

Who has them please.

Thanks.

Classic Vee-Dub at Rydalmere has the Stainless steel ones I now use, I think they were about $25
I originally got the crap ones for $35 & they had to have the rust cleaned off every week

Stainless steel doesn't normally rust...

neither does good chrome.....

so why do they keep using junk chrome????

The Busstop has real good brass ones, I've had them on my beetle for ages. The design is much more stylish too.

Vintage Eyelids
Triple Chrome on Brass, made by Flat 4, with a rolled edge just like the original factory accessory. These will fit sloping light of the early Beetles or Splitscreen kombis Sold as a pair $45

Maybe they have, (or can put you on to) ones for upright headlights.

Matt.
