Hmmmmm...I'd consider snaffling the square shell if I lived a little closer... might still consider it. :)

Body & pan need to be gone in 1 week.
Just reminding those who were interested.

Still lots of stuff left... :thumb

Just wondering how good the front beam was. Mine may have a snapped torsion bar. At the very least it has sagged. So looking for a replacement. Are the seals still good? Any info appreciated. I am also interested in getting those disks and calipers. They will be pretty heavy so wondering if you would be willing to courier over? I will have to see if any of our trains go over that far as well. I may be able to get someone to bring em back.

type3lover - March 14th, 2007 at 12:55 PM

Hey Monk,

The front beam is complete and certainly useable. I will try to arrange pics soon.
If you can organise a courier then sure no worries. There are no trains in Dural. Hornsby would be the closest station that countrylink trains leave from.
I'll speak to Kai.A from this forum who owns the brakes. He now lives in Adelaide so I'll see if he has plans to visit Syd anytime soon.
Thanks mate,
Toby :thumb

tinman - March 16th, 2007 at 02:03 PM

Hi type3lover, can you send me some pics of the pan and shell.
How much work is required on the actual pan?

I'm on tinman@internode.on.net

electricmonk - March 17th, 2007 at 09:27 AM

I have been at work more than I should have and not had a chance to double check on this:
The brakes, calipers and front beam should fit on a 72 shouldn't they?. Also If I did take them could they stay around your place for a while untill I could save up for Transport? (After paying for the items of course)
