WTB rear brake drums to fit 58 Beetle

Hi All

My current rear drums are all out of round and vibrate like crazy under braking. Anyone got any good ones in Melbourne they feel like getting rid of or do i have to get them machined.

Cheers

Gary

i can sell you some but I think it would be best to just get yours machined.
You might find its just that the rims have not been torqued up correctly.
This will have that affect on your car.:thumb

get your machined if theres enough meat left to do this. shudder could be caused by loose nut as bugboy said. this could have damaged the thread as happened to my long axle drivers side. good luck with it.

Thanks guys, i think i'd better get the current ones machined. Nuts are tight and have split pins but i'll also check the rims are nice and tight. Thanks for your help all!

It depends if the are done in the correct order and the rim will pull the drum out of shape if not done correct.
