WTB: Misc Accessories for Beetle
Voodoo - March 16th, 2007 at 09:44 PM
I'm not looking for anything in particular. I love Aussie style VW's,you guys have some cool accessories we cant find in the U.S so I'm just
looking for various things here and there
dont worry, I'm not a "flipper",someone trying to find stuff cheap and turn around and sell it for twice the price, I'm not like that.even if I
sold something I bought I sell it for the same price I paid.I'm just looking for stuff for my own personal car. some of the "Lower Class" guys know
me.
Basically if someone has anything interesting to sell (accessory-wise) hit me up.bits for the interior or exterior.
like I said I'm not looking for nothing in particular ( well looking for Flash Trim, the common style not the set currently on eBay)....basically if
ya have some bits for sale, lemme know what ya got and I'll let ya know if I'm interested in it for my car.
thanks guys/gals
~Cori
heres some pics of my car and some of the accessories I have now,....basically if ya think something would look cool for it lemme know.

voodoo, i know it isn't correct for your car (and it is not an accessory) but would this be of interest to you.
btw the pitting is worse than it looks in the pics and they are bullet holes.
the return spring is broken and pivot points are very slopy.

I would LOVE some but I had to cut the back of my headlight buckets out, and when I did that the tires would still rub and pull the wires out from
behind the headlight, so I needed to push the headlight holder in as far as possible and tack weld it in,.. so unfortunity ( against my will) I had to
get the Porsche headlight covers inorder to be able to pull the headlight as far in as possible, then be able to tilt the headlight down to beam the
road,...I really HATE the Porsche ones.
here you can kinda see on the top how far the headlights had to be pulled forward

I had these ones on before and like it WAY better than the Porsche ones

part of my problem is those front tires, I wanted real white walls and the lowest profile I could find was a 135 series tires, where as other guys who
run their can this low usually use 125 series tires,..so basically its my fault really
I might be buying new wheels if something cool pops up, in which case I'll run a black wall 125 front tire, then Im sure I can go back to normal
headlight buckets.

Voodoo - March 22nd, 2007 at 03:17 PM
wow , that thing looks pretty cool from what I can see of it.
this car was once a parts car, stripped of all of its useable parts for another VW and since owning the car ya tend to be "in-love" with your car,so
I kinda feel like the whole reverse role of the fact someone once harvested this Bug for its parts and now I'm slowly replacing them and adding so
much more in return,... I dunno, we get sentimental when it comes to cars sometimes.its kinda funny, its almost like spoiling your child. I have no
children, so this is my baby :blush
