I have just upgraded the engine in the paddock buggy- the engine ran welll when pulled out yesterday- has new points, condenser- all the original tinware. Also comes with a 1200 gearbox, complete drum to drum- though condition is unknown.

It doesnt have a muffler- just some straight through pipes.

Yep the alternator is as per the photo- dont know if it charges- we just recently bought the buggy and am giving it a makeover.

As for the box- I am not sure but I think it is the 36hp. It certainly is the earlier one as I put a later model back in.

the 36 boxes split right down the midle ...like eng case AND have steel clutch conduit and cable bracket bolted on wid 2 nuts.

40hp boxes are tunnel type and the cable bracket is part of the alloy side plate.
anyone wanna swap the g/box for a muffler ..can deliver from Bris to Bundy...

Given that it has been three days and havent heard from anyone about the motor, to arrange payment or pickup then I am considering it still for sale - money pays for the motor, dibs dont.

first time on pc today and hot and bothered ,

so will check my options and sleep on it .
