Hi, I'm looking for a VW Badge for my Type 3, does anyone out there have one for sale?

Sorry to hijack, but do you have the TYPE3 badge bigdave? The one with the "3" slightly larger and hanging slightly lower?

I think he means the same one that some *&^$#@@#$^&&!!!!!! stole from the front of my square last week.
Its the one on the nose of the Type 3's.
I have found a replacement one (from some bits I have), but am now thinking I may have to cast a few more of them due to the pitiful attempts at getting a replacement one that I went through.

It may help Andres if you say where you are, someone in your local area may have one. If its a late model type 3, you are after a emblem with the three pins behind it, not sure what an early one is like. Try the next swap met/show in your area. For us QLDers (sth east corner anyways) its the VW Klubfest day in June.

You will find early and late are different size and pin holes.

The ones i have on my car (not for sale) are late style, but two pins.

If its the one onthe guard ..i left two behind at the nationals ..SKH motors 0296026059 ..$15 each

There was a heap of them (both early and late) at a dealers stand at the Nats. Can't remember the name but they didn't want a ransom for them as some do!

It's for a late (1973) Type 3, three pin holes, I'm in Kangaroo Valley, NSW, near Nowra, I also have a Type 1 emblem if anyone wants to swap.
